The Volkswagen Tiguan really is a staple car when it comes to our car subscription fleet, our customers love them and they’ve been part of the line up since day one of Cocoon. Recently refreshed the VW Tiguan is already turning heads, available to pre-order as ICE and PHEV models but we were recently blown away by a report that the Tiguan will be available with the latest 265ps engine that will be in the latest VW Golf GTi.
VW Tiguan R-Line 2.0 TSI 265ps
The official name of the car is as above and the order books have already opened in the UK, in facr we’ve already had quite a few quote requests on our Find a Car Lease service for those wanting this model over 2/3 years.
This is purely petrol-powered, it’s a turbocharged four-cylinder engine with VW’s famous seven-speed double-clutch (DSG) automatic gearbox. On top of that you get all-wheel drive thanks to the 4Motion system.
This Tiguan is capable of hitting 62mph in 5.9 seconds and where legally possible, a top speed of 150mph. As standard you get Volkswagens Adaptive Chassis Control (DCC Pro), these can be adjusted depending on your personal preferences. Comfort for that softer calmer drive, or sportier to stiffen up those shock absorbers for beter cornering.
As with all R-Line models, it gives you the R-Line body kit and 20″ alloy wheels as standard. Internally the sport comfort seats are fitted along with brushed stainless steel pedals.
On-board you get the suaul Volkswagen Infotainment system, this includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Reversing Camera, Ambient Lighting, Powered Tailgate and driver assistance like lane assist and adaptive cruise control.
