We were recently tasked by one of our existing customers to help him with specifying his next car, he had already got the Audi A6 Avant in his sights but we needed to look at the specification and which derivative to choose.
Our checklist from the customer included:
- Plug-in Hybrid
- Would prefer Black Edition
- Wanted a Panoramic Sunroof
- Would also like Head-up Display
- Would like to add City Assist Pack
- Colour to be Dark Blue or Dark Red
Audi Configurator
Our first job was to head to the Audi Configurator, we decided on the following model and specification:
- Audi A6 Avant TFSI Black Edition 50 TFSI e Quattro S Tronic
- Grenadine Red – Metallic Paint
- 20″ 8.5Jx20 ’10-Spoke Star’ design Audi Sport Alloy Wheels in Black Metallic, Gloss Turned finish with 255/40 R20
- Sport Seats – Dinamica microfibre/leather combination with S embossing, Seats: black, Dashboard: black, Carpet: rock-grey, Headliner: black

This particular pack ticks the boxes for the customer as it includes the Panoramic Sunroof and the Head-up Display, but also offers the following:

- Parking Assistance Plus Pack
- Audi Pre-Sense Basic
- Seat Heaters in Front and Rear

City Assist Pack
At the customers request, this pack was also added, this includes the following:
- Front Cross Traffic Assist
- Pre-Sense Rear
- Lane Change Assist

How would you configure the Audi A6 Avant? Would you change anything? Would you add anything to the configuration. There are lots of choices in terms of interior and additional specification items. Whilst the 21″ Alloy Wheels looked great, they weren’t available on the ordering system when we placed the order.
