Mercedes-Benz CLA Photo Gallery

The Mercedes-Benz CLA really makes its mark in the range of MB vehicles, based on the A-Class but is a much bigger car. In fact, the Cocoon team was extremely surprised that it is just as long as the Mercedes GLC parked outside the office.

We love the Coupe looks of the vehicle with two massive grooves in the bonnet, making you feel that there is a much more powerful lump of an engine under the bonnet and not the turbo-charged 1.3 litre engine that comes with this model.

Don’t ever think that the 1.3 engine is too small, this thing feels nippy with the turbo’s cutting in very early to really get off the mark. On our test run, we still managed a very pleasant 48mpg. The engine is mated with a seven-speed dual-clutch set-up with amazingly smooth gear changes.

On board the car is fitted with what looks like a huge landscape screen set-up, it is in fact twin screens. From here you can control the sat nav, bluetooth or music options from either the touchpad, steering wheel controls or the touchscreen. This is the Premium model so it also came with Apple CarPlay.

We’re super impressed with this CLA and hopefully our customer will be too!
