Lexus

Lexus is the luxury car division of Toyota and was first introduced in America in 1989. Lexus sells globally and became Japan’s largest selling make of premium vehicles.

Lexus is now available in over 70 countries worldwide, yet still controlled from their headquarters in Nagoya, Japan. It originated from a project nicknamed F1 which eventually turned out to be the Lexus LS in 1989. They added a wide variety of vehicles to its range including SUV’s, Saloons, Coupes and Convertibles.

Lexus has also been important in Toyota’s introduction of Hybrid vehicles, with the RX Model range launching the Hybrid model in 2005.
