What is “Non-Status” Leasing?

Non-Status leasing simply means that each application received, is dealt on a case-by-case basis by a specialist team. Whilst credit checks are undertaken, our experienced underwriters use affordability and stability checks to help you with obtaining a credit line.

Examples of Non-Status

  • Expat / Overseas Visitors
  • New Business Start-up
  • Business with Negative Shareholder Funds
  • Foreign Directors of UK Companies
  • Overseas Business with UK Workers/Entity
  • UK Citizen returning to the UK
  • No UK Credit History
  • Director of a Foreign Company
  • Director or a New Start-up Business
  • Only just turned 18 years old

What do you need to provide?

You will be required to supply the at least the following documents:

  • Driving Licence
  • Passport
  • Utility Bill
  • Proof of residency
  • Bank Statements
  • Employment Details
  • Proof of funds

New-Start Business

If you are a new startup business, we may be able to help. Our underwriters can look at your business along with the Directors and hopefully set you up with a credit line to get you mobile. We may ask for guarantees and/or refundable deposits.

Business with Bounce Back Loans

We may also be able to help your business if you have recently applied for bounce back loans or Covid recovery loans and have been refused credit.

Credit Checks

All applications must go through a credit check for anti-money laundering and FCA compliance (where required), on non-status leasing, we use affordability and stability checks to help you get a credit line.
