Vehicles advertised on our website do not include insurance. When you take out a short-term contract with Cocoon Vehicles, you must provide fully comprehensive insurance for the duration of the contract.
Fleet Policies
We also accept fleet policies, it is important that you add the vehicle on to the MID database, to show that it is insured. The DVLA has been fining those who haven’t done this.
Insurance Tips
If you are taking a short-term contract for less than 12 months, we highly recommend taking an insurance policy for the year, then when you swap vehicles you can amend the policy. If you no longer require insurance it is worth cancelling and paying any fees over using a short-term insurance provider.
You must tell your insurance company that you are not a legal owner of the vehicle and that it is a lease car.
