Despite what the media is saying, electric cars are still very popular, especially in our flexible car subscriptions and short-term car leases sector. We’re seeing the following types of customers adopting electric vehicles:
- EV Curious Drivers – People who want to try and electric car before fully committing to a prurchase or a long-term lease. They may be concerned with the charing infrastructure in the UK, driving range or how an EV fits into their lifestyle.
- Small Business Owners & Startups – Entrepreneurs who need vehicles for their business but prefer the flexibility of a vehicle subscription instead of a long-term lease or purchase. This is useful for managing cash flow and adapting to business needs.
- Companies Offering Employee Benefits – Businesses looking to provide company cars to employees and minimise grey fleet issues and Benefit in Kind (BiK) tax. Electric vehicle subscriptions are attractive due to the lower BiK tax rates.
- Expats & Temporary Workers – Professionals moving to the UK for short-term work contracts who need a car but don’t want the hassle of buying, leasing or selling.
- Urban Dwellers & Remote Workers – People living in cities such as London, Manchester and Birmingham and don’t need a car full-time. but they want the vehicles for occasional trips, school runs, client meetings or weekend getaways without the long-term commitments.
With the latest plate release on the horizon, we’ve got plenty of stock coming through with a strong emphasis on EV’s, so let’s have a look at the latest offers:
