UPDATED: 30th March 2020 @ 14.23
Our team is currently remote working and therefore, responses may be slower than usual. We have also altered our opening hours, please see below.
Following the Government guidelines with regards to lockdown this week, it has been increasingly difficult to obtain cars via the usual channels.
Manufacturers, Dealerships, Funders and Delivery/Collection Agents have closed their doors with any pending deliveries cancelled, with some cars physically cancelled completely.
We will be in contact with customers who will be affected and will be offering alternatives until its business as usual.
As of 25th March 2020, we have 377 vehicles available to us on Flexi and Fixed Contracts, this is much lower than usual but we have focused on cars that we can supply within the next few days.
These vehicles include small cars from Seat Ibiza’s up to BMW X5’s, however, we must stress that these are for Key Workers, NHS, Police and Government Agencies only.
Please see key points below:
We have over 350 vehicles available on our flexirent and fixed options, these can be delivered within 2-3 days subject to area, payments and contracts, along with driver availability.
Updated: At the moment we will be providing quotes and accepting applications on all vehicles, but unless you are classed as a Key Worker, NHS, Doctors, Police, Government or Emergency Services, we’re unable to deliver.
Priority will be given to key workers, NHS, Police and Government agencies.
We are still receiving and dealing with enquiries in the usual manner.
We still have a wide range of cars available for delivery after the Government lockdown and we’re still able to process orders.
Applications are still be accepted and our underwriters are working as usual to set-up credit lines ready for our clients.
Deliveries will be available for vehicles that are confirmed and will be for Key Workers, Healh Care Workers, Care Assistants, NHS, Nurses, Doctors, Police, Government Agencies and Key Workers as laid out by the Government Guidelines.
Proof will be required before delivery to show to any authority checking on our delivery drivers.
If you are currently in one of our car we will extend this where possible and deliver the new car when we are able.
London Deliveries: Due to major restrictions in the capital, we’re unable to deliver within the M25, this includes Key Workers, NHS, Emergency Services and Government Agencies, we will be in touch to arrange alternative arrangements.
The majority All of our collections have been cancelled by our agents and suppliers, unless advised. Therefore, all contracts will continue as per the extensions tab below.
Extensions of Vehicles
All vehicles that are currently out on hire will be automatically extended until we get in touch to arrange otherwise, therefore, all contractual obligations must be adhered to by our customers.
We will be closing the office on Friday 27th March 2020.

Payments and Direct Debits
As it stands, we’re expecting payments in from customers as usual. We at Cocoon Vehicles understand this is a difficult time but as of today, we have no plans for payment holidays as we in turn, do not receive any payment holidays from our suppliers and funders.
If customers are struggling with their Direct Debit’s, please do get in touch and we’ll try and find a solution to help.
Stay Safe and Stay At Home
Its really important that everyone stays safe and stays at home as per the Government guidelines. Whilst we class ourselves as key workers; providing vehicles to the Police, NHS and Government agencies, we feel its important to adhere to these rules.
We feel that as a family run business, that family and friends really should come first, along with the safety of our customers, suppliers and the general public, which is why from Monday we will be remote working and our offices will close their doors, the first time since February 2007.
We’re still here for all your vehicle needs for immediate or the future and can help with all of your normal enquiries, just a little slower than normal.
We wish everyone well in this difficult time and look forward to getting back to some normality once the lockdown has been relaxed.
Rebecca, Rhys and the Team at Cocoon Vehicles.
