How long can I hire a car for?
We offer two types of contracts here at Cocoon Vehicles that would suit those looking to hire a car for 6-months. Your personal circumstances will dictate which you decide to go for, but all of the options are available to both business and personal customers.
Car Subscriptions for 6-months
The beauty of our car subscriptions is that you only have to commit to the minimum qualifying period to get the best rates, these cars can then be taken and off-hired giving us at least 5 working days notice.
If you need it a bit longer than 6-months, no issue the contract continues until you give us notice. Need to send it back early, not an issue, so long as you have met the minimum qualifying period, you can return the car and receive a pro-rate refund for unused rental when we complete the end of contract.
Short-Term Car Leases for 6-Months
If you know that you only need a car for a period of 6-months, short-term car leases can be more cost effective. Their are pro’s and con’s to these fixed contracts.
They cannot be extended or reduced in length without penalities. The cars take longer to come through than our car subscription vehicles and maintenance is optional.
But they work for a lot of people across the UK and they might work for you!
Hiring a car for an extended amount of time via a traditional daily rental company can prove very expensive, they may also require a change of vehicle after 3-months due to the way these types of businesses operate their vehicle rotation system.
The closest service that we offer is our car subscription service, this can work very well for those businesses who operate fleets of vehicles and can work better than contract hire & leasing of vehicles.
