Special Closing Dates for Cocoon Vehicles
We would like to take this opportunity to remind our customers of our special opening hours and off-hire procedures during these periods:
Christmas and New Year 2026/27
The office will close at 3pm on Wednesday 23rd December and remain closed until 9am on Monday 4th January 2027.
Should you wish to arrange a collection/return prior to the Christmas closure, strictly the last date we can accept the Online Returns Form Submission is 3pm on Wednesday 9th December 2026. The last date before the closure for deliveries and pre-arranged returns will be Friday 18th December.
Emails and phone calls will not be responded to until Monday 4th January 2027 when the office will re-open.
Please Note. That any returns/collections/off-hires will not be possible during the close of business between 23rd December 2026 and 4th January 2027. All requests made via the RETURN REQUEST FORM will be dealt with once we have reopened on Monday 4th January 2027.
Breakdown Assistance
Should in the unfortunate event you require the services of the breakdown assistance. More details can be found in your vehicle’s windscreen, in our returns standards booklets or on our breakdown assistance page.
Maintenance and Out of Hours Procedure
Should the service light illuminate on your vehicle on the dates that we are closed, please DO NOT book your car/van in for a service during this period as we will not be able to authorise any of the work carried out.
Please ensure that your car/van is booked in for a service as soon as possible after our re-opening dates to ensure that the dealership or service centre receives the correct authorisation.
If your vehicle is already booked in for service work on these dates, please contact the dealership or service centre prior to the closing date to authorise any work to be carried out.
You may be liable for any work carried out, should the instructions not be followed.
Contract Blackout Periods
As part of your contract, there will be Blackout Periods stipulated where you will not be able to return the vehicle. Please visit our Blackouts page using the button below for more information.
